Interventions Filtered by Their Area of Impact
Public transport systems can be divided into four areas: all areas traversed to or from the transport infrastructure, the waiting areas for transport vehicles, the areas onboard vehicles and the areas where interchanges between vehicles occur. Not all of the 49 interventions listed in this tool can influence sexual harassment in all four areas. Although the interventions included in the tool are focused on sexual harassment when using public transport, almost half of them will be effective in addressing incidents that occur when accessing the wider transport system.
